Advocacy for Americans abroad

I have been working for legislative change as an advocate and activist for almost two decades.
In a new Democratic administration, DA is poised to contribute to legislation that impacts Americans abroad, such as tax reform, voting rights and immigration reform.

Congressional door knocks

I've participated in every DA door knock since 2011, advocating for families, tax issues and other topics close to the hearts of Americans abroad.

Senate Judiciary hearing

I submitted testimony in support of including same-sex partners in US immigration law and brought stories of Americans who self deported to be with their same-sex partners.

I also submitted testimony on behalf of Democrat Abroad to the Senate Judiciary Hearing on Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Meeting with Congressman John Lewis

One of the greatest honors of my life was having the opportunity to share with Congressman John Lewis about DA's work on voting rights and immigration equality for same-sex couples.

Listening for what DA members care about

When I travel I like to meet with DA members and learn about what they're up to and what concerns them.
I've met up with local leaders and members and shared about the DNC at fundraisers and events in Vienna, Paris, Gothenburg, Berlin, London and Barcelona.
